Why FILOPOW
A PoW coin that can't be 51%-attacked.
Plain Proof-of-Work is vulnerable to reorg attacks. FILOPOW keeps open GPU mining but adds a smartnode consensus layer on top — the security model of Dash, on a fair-launch KawPoW chain.
ChainLocks security
Smartnode quorums sign every block within seconds, making the chain immune to 51% reorg attacks — a security guarantee plain PoW coins can't offer.
Fair launch, no premine
Zero premine. The chain is time-locked until genesis, so no one can mine early. Every single coin is mined by the community from block 1.

Point any GPU rig and go.
FILOPOW uses KawPoW — the same GPU-friendly, ASIC-resistant algorithm as Ravencoin. A bootstrap pool is live now, so the network is never without one. More KawPoW pools are expected to add FPOW after launch.

Smartnodes
Run a node. Secure the chain. Earn.
FILOPOW smartnodes are Dash-class deterministic smartnodes (DIP3) — registered on-chain from block 1. They power ChainLocks and InstantSend, and earn a majority share of every block reward.
- 5,000 FPOW collateral — locked, not spent. You keep it and can withdraw by retiring the node.
- Earn 54% → 60% of the block reward, paid in a rotating queue, with optional owner/operator split.
- Payments begin once 10 smartnodes are online.
- Requires a server with a static routable IP, running 24/7. A setup guide follows.
